Marine Virus Ecology Bulletin
Written by Ariana Medina
My name is Ariana Medina and I am a marine biology senior at Roger Williams University with a minor in visual arts. My involvement on campus ranges from club treasurer of Rhythm and Roots to being a student research assistant for the phycology lab. I am employed as a tutoring center front desk assistant and a senior member of event operations on campus. Some of my skills include science communication to varying audiences and laboratory skills in PCR. My versatile experience as a student at Roger Williams University gives me the ability to communicate with different ranges of audiences a skill necessary for my career in marine science. My career goal is to make marine science more inclusive for everyone, with my own research in organismal diversity. This is an academic blog about current topics in viral ecology.
